The assembly and welding of the hull was surprisingly complex even if I tryed to make it simple, first reason being I did weld it in my breaks times at work and trying to make as much as I can half an hour each days. It lead to some bad assembly mistakes and bad quality of some of my welds although I'm a professional welder... |

The tracks pads, the roadwheels and the sprockets are all casted with Smooth-Cast 300 from Smooth-On and the molded in the blue-ich Mold-Star 30. |

Here is the jigg I'm using to set the track pads. First, I place the pads in place in the jiggs, pre-drill the holes for the screws then I put some heavy duty contact glue on each pad and screws them together.
By the way the strap I'm using is a recycled walking machine belt. |

One thing to note is that Field of Armor recomand to use a rail or a tubing to hold the suspension unit to the hull and that a good idea...!!!! I did think that the side hull plus a long pieces of aluminum welded together would be enougth but it was not... I had to put renforcement at each axles. |
