Under Construction Tyng Track System with metal treads Anvilus Speed Controller
|
|
|
|
|
My Tiger-1 uses a Tyng Track System (TSS) made out of HMPE plate,
with road wheels from the local hardware store. The hull is
made out of 18 and 9 mm multiplex (plywood) covered with epoxy resin.
The drive system is powered by two German high performance 12volt
elektro motors (10 n/cm), controlled by an Anvilus speed controller
built by Joe Sommer. The gun is a 68 caliber automag paintball gun
with a trimmed down viewloader hopper. The electronics includes an
Akai sample stuff for boombox effect!

If the internal systems work only half as well as the tank looks,
it will be a truly impressive vehicle on the battlefield.

April 2007:
Here is a look to the inside of my tank. Made of aluminium and trespa plate.
The axels are all of rvs steel, and 10mm thick.
all materials are easy to obtain. The body of the tank is popped and screwed
together. I sure hope that it will survive the abuse of paint battling!

The outside of the bugger. The details on the frontside of the tank
are made of soft rubber, hopefuly to create a bounce factor!
