To save my back I thought to myself "make this tank build a small one". A 1/6th locust is 2 feet 2 inch long. Tiny ! A pair of 12v Kiddie car motors were positioned into the hull.

A pair of shopping cart wheels with roller bearings on a 12mm shaft. Nothing ambitious or out of the ordinary here. The wheels turn very freely and don't wobble.

A road wheel mount kit form assembly.

I had a very productive day and finished the drive wheels, road wheels+mounts , tracks and all the drive electronics . ( I Just don't remember eating).

    The middle hull.

Less fat in my diet , more turret on my hull. Can you guess what it is yet kids?

I cut a 9mm plywood lid to the shape I wanted. Chip pans bend into position very nicely. Then screwed through the aluminium into the ply.

I have to thank Phil Palmer for the marker. I think it was the last one in England. This is a splat-o-matic .40cal marker, very small and light weight ,We later found out the .40 cal paint balls don't always splat on impact, but what else do you fit in a 9" diameter turret?

The marker is powered by those awful 12gram sparklet things so has to be easily removed. One sparklet will give about 90 shots, so for every 3rd ammo refill "chip" also gets a Co2 refill. A single screw holds the marker to the wooden block
