One completed wheel with some fake lugs mounted. The shop got a little cold after painting and may have frozen the paint before it dried, causing the rough appearance.

A side view of the wheel. With attachment chain, only the center of the wheel bears any weight, so I used two oak 3/4" boards glued together and cut those to 3" diameter. The MDO is glued and brad nailed to the oak.

A view of a "completed" swing arm. This one was actually scrapped due to the wheel bolt not being square to the arm. The small bolt goes through the hull.

The wheel bolt needed to be long enough so the shoulder would protrude enough to snug up to the swing arm.

A close up of completed assembly with springs installed.

A view of the suspension from the interior of the hull. The Tyng system makes for a very clean and neat install.
