I can not wait to shred up the field with this little monster! It looks kinda evil, sinister. Not long to go now, just the radio and batteries. I would say late March, early April I should be able to test her.

March 2006: I’m using VG6000 6 channel radios for both my StuG and my Ferdinand. I was unsure if this radio was compatible with the Anvilus speed control, but it was, that was a huge relief :-) . Tower hobbies really are great to deal with. The plan was have my StuG moving by March 13, but that’s not going to happen.

March 2006: I rolled it out onto a top secret testing ground (backyard) for initial testing. It went well, but the batteries went flat and a small transmission problem surfaced. I quickly fixed the transmission problem and completed two successful laps of the “Proving Ground”. The smooth cast sprockets held up well and meshed nicely with the tracks. Once I get some real batteries testing will resume.

September 2006:
The Stug has been painted a nice dark green, I've added a cupola,
a loaders hatch, a barrel cover and various little details like
scale bolts. The engine deck also has more vents now to increase airflow.
