I am building a Panzer IV-G which should give me a 40/4 rating. I am building in 1/6th scale and the hull is constructed of 1/2" baltic birch plywood for the most part with some 1/8" luan for good measure.

The motors are 12v drill motors through chain drive to the axles. I am going with the bicycle chain track and the friction drive. Power will be from 2 x 12v kiddie car batteries via the tri-pact speed controller.

The turret is a 1/2" ply with a molded fiberglass shell so it can be
removed for easy access (thanks Steve Tyng).
