R/C Tank CombatPOW RescueBattle #1 SummaryJohn Pittelli |
BackgroundThe scenario for the day would be to rescue three POW's from the enemy compound, with the following rules. The three POW's inside the 4 cones within the compound could only be rescued by the supply vehicle. The jailers had 2 AFV's and the Navarone gun. They could also resupply at their compound. If a jailer asset was destroyed, it had to go back to the main base to wipe off the paint and record the hits. The rescue party consisted of 3 AFV's and a supply vehicle. Only one POW could be rescued at a time. The sides were drawn by coin flip as follows: Jailers (aka. Col. Klinks Crew) Joe Sommer (T010), Paul Pittelli (T077), Alex Hendrickson (FA003) Rescuers (aka. Norris-Stallone Associates) Frank Pittelli (T001), Will Montgomery (T026), John Pittelli (T079), Justice Hendrickson (SV014)
Battle ReportThe event started off smoothly enough with the Rescuers reeking havoc on the Jailers. Only problem, the Jeep was eating batteries at a very high rate . So even though the compound was cleared of rescuer assets 3 times, the Jeep could never get a POW back to base. It only made it half way once. Although no bonus points were awarded for rescues, the rescuers nonetheless sent enough jailers back to home base to win the battle handily.
