R/C Tank CombatOlympIainBattle #2 Summary |
Window DressingIn the first team, called "Neighbourhood Watch":
On the other team, called "Artist formally known as Claire":
This may look like a very one sided battle, being 3 against 1 and all, however anybody inside T078 will soon discover that the operator (rider), is treated to a spacious cockpit with excellent visibility. Also the way the marker is set up is even more accurate to use than if it was hand held, due to its rock solid yet easy swing aiming system (if I may say so myself, because I built it). All that the Artist formally known as Claire needed to remember was not to shoot at the windows of the house next door. Luckily these instructions were simple enough to follow, shoot the tanks, don't shoot the windows. The battle started off with Neighbourhood Watch in agreement to work together. In all the excitement the battlers must have forgot this little agreement as they went off and did their own thing entirely with varying success. All was going well when suddenly a loud shriek could be heard coming from the garden next door, followed be a loud NEIL!!! in an angry woman next doors voice. You`ll never guess what! but a whopping splat mark could be clearly seen on Brenda's window. We all decided that due to the direction of shot, angle of trajectory, paint colour and a signed confession from the guilty perpetrator, it was determined that Artist formally known as Claire was very high on the list of suspects. Funky Neroc never used the words "I'm very sorry" in one breath before as the emergency cleaning equipment was vigorously made use of. All friends again (not) and the netting that we were going to use from the start but thought unnecessary, was erected, the battle continued. |
