R/C Tank CombatOctober RevolutionBattle #3 Summary |
Report by Neil Rochford
With paint in quantity I was able to fire endless rounds of paint in the direction of Pete's Valentine. Neil's law states that if enough paint is fired in a targets general direction then some of it will hit that target, and indeed some did. My advantage over the Valentine was that my supply route was little over 20 feet whilst Pete's was more like 80 feet and his solo supplier (the Jeep) also had to supply FA06. All three soldiers were eventually wiped out due to considerable good/bad luck, not to mention just shear pig headed determination. I found great delight in managing a long range shot on the Jeep trying to re-supply the Valentine. Pete managed to shoot both my brave troopers putting me very temporally out of action until new recruits were brought to me by my loyal team. The sortie ended like the last with the KOR unable to silence the Government Artillery after 20 minutes.
Report by Chris Malton James, in a moment of what we can only assume to be madness, changed sides to face off against us in the last battle. That was at the same time as supplying Neil. While Neil's supply run was a mere 20 foot, as opposed to my more like 80 foot run, the Jeep (SV012) kept me supplied well, and also managed to keep my artillery alive for the whole of the sortie. Phil, with T055, decided to take cover behind a box, and then move said box in front of him as he attacked my position. It was to no avail. A few short shart hits on the lower front and sides of T055 took Phil out of the sortie fro a few moments. Eventually time was called, and the Government Forces had yet again survived the onslaught of the King's Own Regiment.
