Fall Brawl 2006

Battle #1 Summary

The "Defend the Flag" scenario created one of the closest battles fought so far, with both sides scoring the same number of hits that they took and virtually the same number of supply runs. The deciding factor was the 1,000 mission points earned by the Skeeters as the result of the Cromwell's amazing "trash can run" near the end of the second sortie. Although the Cromwell initially slammed into the tank traps in front of the empty barn, Tyng eventually located the General and ran him over to fulfill the mission.

The Tiger and Cromwell were pitted against each other and were busy the entire battle, scoring 25 hits each against the opposing team. Of course, that also caused them to take a lot of hits, with 7 kills between them.
