Essex Homecoming Battle

Under a bright sun, 85 degrees and high-humidity, the Maryland Attack Group hosted a day of battling at the Essex Skypark. Eleven battlers attended including veterans Frank, Will, Steve, John, Paul, Joe, Chris, Marty, Karl, and Rick, and new recruit Mike. Two one-hour battles were held with plenty of action, a number of mechanical failures and lots of destruction. Ironically, the Essex-natives, Frank, John and Paul fared the worse throughout the day, suffering many defeats (perhaps the choice of "Bluebirds" as a team name had something to do with it).
