R/C Tank Combat

Corporate Takeover

Battle #2 Summary

Brummbar Delivered To Vegas Alliance
by John Pittelli

Here is a short video of the Brummbar Maiden Voyage along with some photos. The Brummbar worked great during its debut battle, with only some minor track problems throughout the day. That's basically a miracle considering that the electrical and control systems were only fully installed the first time the night before the battle.

The official transfer of title from Tri-Pact Foundry to the Vegas Alliance, after an equally important transfer of funds. Shown here are Alpha Wolf, head of Tri-Pact Foundry, shaking hands with Desert One, head of the Vegas Alliance.

The Brummbar runs on 24v using M01 motors and the original plastic tracks from the Panzer IV. A new suite of control systems includes scooter controllers with relay-based direction control, motor-driven elevate and rotate, and a door-lock actuator for the trigger. The novel gun mount design allows the gun to elevate and rotate just like the original.
