The asset turnout was by UK standards impressive, five tanks and a supply vehicle. The newly conditioned Jeep now fitted with 4WD and new nippy motors could move across the earth at three times the previous speed. But, with no Field Artillery to supply, SV012 needed a new mission. It was decided that any vehicle that travelled round a pre-determined route and returns to home base without being destroyed would be awarded 250 points. This was managed twice by the Valentine, thrice by the Marder and eight successful runs made by the Jeep.
