I'm hoping the gyro balancing will counter the recoil by turning the tracks and keeping the robot balanced. This seems to work when I give the robot a push with my hand, we'll se when I get the actual marker installed.

okay, you get the bot to stand up and balance itself, but what happens when you fire your gun??? do you think the hull's weight will be enough keep itself upright after the first shot (and the ones to follow afterwards)?
