Won't they change them for 15 mm long bolts? at the
same place you bought them? 4 pins on a double gap might work.

Erk! I see what you mean. Actually there are 9 pins on the sprocket not 8,
but the principle is the same.
I may be able to get out if this by (a) removing every other pin so that I only have 3 pins (no, I'm not optimistic but it might work, particularly if I can increase this to 4 or 5 pins with a double-gap) or (b) go back to friction drive. Alternatively anyone want 300-odd 20mm bolts and 600 nuts? :) Phil |
