Yep Joe,
I've read the rules, and by golly you are correct. Right there in the
"Armament" section, it sure is: Maximum hits = 4. Maximum number of
paintballs = 40. Don't know how I missed it. Maybe I was fixated on the
fact that my vehicle is only allowed 2 hits and 20 or 30 paintballs
(depending on if I have tracks mounted or stowed).
As for jib cranes, there are at least two folks that are going to need them.
There is the guy building the Mk. V Male. There is also a guy building a
T-35 in 1/6th and it looks like he is well on his way to completing his
hull. There may also be a Maus on it's way.
Yep Steve,
You are correct as well, I have never participated in a "battle". However,
after 20 years in the U.S. Army, I have learned quite well that it is wise
to present as small a target to your enemy as possible, no matter the
quality of his marksmanship or the size of his gun. Also, I would never
dream of offending a "Veteran"!
Yep Frank,
You are certainly right! It is possible to hit a small target. I do wonder
however, how many rounds were expended to get each hit on the mule. I
suspect the odds of hitting a 10' X 10' panel at 75 feet would be near 100%,
I also suspect that the odds of hitting a 1" X 1" target at the same range
would be near 0%. I know these sizes are exaggerated, but think about what
I'm saying.
I sure must have stirred up a hornets nest to get all three of you guys
after me. I didn't mean to offend anyone. As I told Joe in a private
E-mail, I tend to piss people off. I also tend to "think out loud". Not a
real good combination.
