I'm something of a stickler for scale and since I took my
measurements from a later T-35 model my tank is close to 6' long so
that's a lot of roller chain on the ground. I'm using 24v DeWalt hammer
drill motors to power the tank, they run around 1680 watts and stall at
over twice that. The downside of course is I'll need some serious speed
controllers and quite a battery pack, luckily I have the space to fit
them. Simply put downside of a big tank is cash, the parts are out there
to move just about anything you build, it's all a matter of cost.
