WOW!

Sounds a lot like a challenge to me!  Glad I don't live in the "mid Atlantic region".  I seem to be safe here in the Midwest.  Yes, I'm one of the "tech-talkers" you mentioned.  You and the Cromwell are the major reason I'm in this at all.  Christie suspension, my eye!  If....  if I can work out my technical issues, I'll be there!  I picked the most advanced vehicle that still reflected the "Christie" design.  The BT-7 retained the "convertible" traits that were discarded in the T-34/76.  As a result, I have to figure out how to emulate that.  Just give me a while.  I would be more than happy to give the Cromwell a new paint-job!

Right now there is no fire delays or speed restrictions in the hobby.  This was purposely done to not stifle innovation.  In the future if it's the groups consensus to give fire delays a try I'm OK with that BUT we need a decent sized group of battlers for a meaningful consensus.  So come one guys, lets get some tanks built!  Endless discussions of technical minutiae that I've been reading of late is not getting any tanks on the battlefield.  I challenge all in the Mid Atlantic region (USA) to have a vehicle ready for the 08 spring battle!  If you think you may have "performance" issues, I will deliberately downgrade the Cromwell's specs to equal the slowest newcomer on the battlefield (at least for one battle ;-).  If somebody shows up with something quicker and badder than the Cromwell, so much the better.

What's been missing from this list for the past couple of years is some good old fashioned smack talk.  So what do you say you endless tech talkers?  Are you going to give your keyboards a much needed rest and get your arse's into the workshop?  Are you wannabe tank warriors going to stop drooling over what's been built and get your own gleaming paint spewing monsters on the field of honor and kick some veteran ass?  Are you going to let young Chris down in Australia who's built himself an entire tank division show you guys up or are you going to just keep dreaming of building that tank?  AND I am very disappointed with all but one of the Dutch TNT members.  Come on Siggy, WJ, and the others, you have let a half insane part time soap opera actor show you up in the tank building department!  Shame, shame, shame on you.... ;-)
So who's going to be the first to step and say, "Hey Tyng, I'll be there in the spring and kick you and your POS Cromwell all over the field"?
