i really wish i knew where the tablet i wrote down the size of some of these wheels because i have all of that info.
 
I know the road wheels are 800mm, and in 1:6th scale that is 5.249"/13.33cm, so that parts right.
 
since your using a chain drive for the tracks, i wouldn't go any lower than 1/2" for the drive shaft - since your not using a friction track, there isn't as much tension involved.
 
60SD - what's the SD?
 
my 1:7th scale tiger will be using a 40 attachment chain - it has tabs on both sides of the chain.
 
as to track drive gears, i don't know how any made their's near the correct scale size.
 

I also figure I have about .8275 inches between the chain when on the sprocket. Is a roller wheel of about ¾ an inch thick sufficient?

i don't quite understand what your saying here (simple things have a way of being over my head sometimes)
