Thanks for the response,
>"friction or some sort of sprocket to drive the tracks?"
If I can get away with just friction I will.
>"putting pins out the sides of that wooden wheel to catch the bolts?"
Yes, If friction isnt enough, which it wont.
I`ve been thinking of bolting down small sections of treadmill belt in each pair of
hinge.
Please enjoy my ridiculous drawing;-)
I`m still thinkin about that one.
>"how long is your tank ?"
The body length is 660mm or 2`2" the hinges are 2" wide.
The Locust was the smallest Tank I could find.
Its about as big as a medium size car.
(Not mine the real one!)
>"the drive sprockets on a Locust are at the front?"
Not on my Locust there not, actually Chrys told me to do a back drive sys if using
KTS (hinges(Im not sure if KTS is catching on)).
>"a site/ a link? pics?"
I could not agree more, come on Pete, what`d bout ya!
>"Perhaps we travel only with our own batteries , paintballs, and a spare RC system
>. WIll airlines like batteries and CO2 bottles in our luggage?"
I would`nt have thought so Chrys.
It would be cheeper if the host bought lots of
paintballs pre battle.
Then the battler only has to bring his skills.
(or her skills)
