BTW, I have found somewhere that can do ready made tracks on dublex roller chain for a reasonable price. Fancy a trip out to talk to them?

My Locust now has tracks,
She moves !(forwards only with an on off switch)and about half the full speed of my Leopard, but I dont mind.
This is a girlfriend/guest tank, a quicky,if you like.
Next will be finnish the road wheels, see pic 2
Im happy with the battary, only 2.3kg see pic 3
