Hi Everyone, My
name is MaCayn and I’m a student living in Chicago. I’m interested
in building a Tiger I tank, sadly apartment living leaves me with limited means
of doing… anything. I’ve started modeling the frame using Autodesk
Inventor. I have most of the angles worked out, but am having difficulty with
the lengths of the frame, particularly the front and the angled sides. Does
anyone who built one already still have their measurements? I’ve looked
through a lot of the pictures and films and was curious how you manage to
waterproof the hull to allow it to go through the mud and water without leaking
in? Last question, what are the common ways of attaching the top portion of the
hull to the bottom? I’m planning on making it out of metal so I won’t
start any construction until I have modeled all of the parts. As I complete
them, I’ll send them out. Thanks for the help. The machines you all have
built are amazing! |
