I have some 1/2" foamed PVC sheet that I am using for my track pads.
They will be pinned through the hollow pin 50P roller chain that I
picked up for $10/box. Hopefully the environmentalists are right
about how long the plastic takes to break down and they will last
forever (at least last my lifetime)...
