I was thinking this very thing. I suppose that I shouldn't be surpised to
find it posted here! I would also like to know if anyone else has tried
this. Seems like it would work fine as simple relays or switches shouldn't
give a hoot whether they are carrying an intermittant or steady signal and
the scooter speed controllers should handle plenty of amps. I was
considering a servo-pulley-belt get up to operate the manual control.
