Phil ,a lot of people ,all of witch I would say, know what they are talking 
about.All telling you different things,
the most important thing (in my humble opinion)
is the wobble aspect.the bolt and drill bit must be fixed firmly.
If you gain access to a drill press you will see how much easer drilling is, with 
the 6mm bolt in a vice grip.
otherwise you will snap a lot of bits.
