their are two types of drill bits one will chip and the other will cut, it all depends on the way a drill bit has been sharpened ? but all 1mm 2mm 3mm drill bits should drill at high speed so i was tort

     I respectfully disagree Will, drill RPM should be set by diameter of the bit and type of material.  I had a friend whoes finger was cut to the bone by a long string catching on the chuck and essentially lassoing him. The right speed will make C shaped chips.
