That has been around for a few years. It seems to be a good system. If some one could make a duplicate of its drivetrain on a larger scale it would be great. Thanks for finding that.

i found this on the net which has a single electric motor or a nitro engine
 
its only 1/10th but it shows that a differential can be used effectively in a model tank
