Frank, a replacement for your loaner giant servo kit is on the way back to you. It’s a new kit - not one I blew up and fixed J. I tested it and it works fine. Thanks again for the loan.

 

For everybody else, I didn’t have much success with that circuit. It’s possible that I was trying to drive too large a gear motor with it. The thing would work for a while, then smoke. I was using one of those common Saturn wiper motors we’ve probably all seen at some point.

 

I will probably try the Pololu version of the thing (http://www.pololu.com/products/pololu/0392/) at some point in the future.
