I have some pliable rubber that I'm using in my boat-hobby business
(stiff but flexible somewhat, use it for some turrets) that I was
thinking about casting HMMWV and LAV tires in. The LAV tires would
likely be scale enough on an AMX-10RC, probably a shade too thick for
the WW2 German 8x8 but useable. I won't be doing tires for probably
3 or 4 weeks, though. I'll post pics when I get some done. If all
goes according to plan, it won't be just a naval combat business
anymore :) Although that's where most of the seed money went (Bob
Pottle's hull molds for those who've heard of him). This is my new
full-time job (thanks to understanding wife who can support us) and I
will be also making things for tanks/AFVs/armored cars/etc...
*Chris, the rubber I mention here is not the same kind we talked about
before :) Much less squish under load.
