how wide are the hinges and how many hinges per track as that seems an easier way to build a track than having to use a belt with wooden blocks

Hi Matthew! try to build the RSO version with the 75 mm gun mounted on, so you can later mount a paintball gun and play. It has a simpler, easier to scratch build, cabin, and two pairs of wheels like my suspensions have:
- no springs involved. SHould be easy to construct! You will  have both the batteries and gun on the bed in the back, but they can fit I guess. You can cover them with a piece of canvas (an old T-shirt of khaki pants will do the job) Also, with the batteries in the back, teh gravity center will be kind of high, but nothing you cannot deal with.
