I have an RS80 D motor controller that I haven't installed yet.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         I'am more than a little concerned to hear of the problems a few of you have been having with RS80 D motor controller!
Hopefully this can be a learning experience. Have you any ideas what may have caused the motor controller failure/problems?
 
Those of you that are having success with the RS80 D, what are your thoughts on these failures? Are there any suggestions you have that may have resulted in your RS80 D motor controller operating successfully?
 
I'd really be disappointed to have my motor controller let out the dreaded "magic smoke"!
