I'm not certain, but that sounds like the same problem that Rick Schultz
had with his RS80D. I think he shorted his board with some metal
filings. Rick was, however, able to send it somewhere to get it fixed,
but I don't know where or how much. In either case, it sounds like
something that the manufacturer is aware can happen and should probably
try to prevent.
