I've kind of moved off the Bradley and now I'm leaning toward a T-72. It
still has good dimensions at 1/6 scale, plus it has a low profile and would be
a 40/4 vehicle.
The turret is very round – kind of a hemisphere squished into a tear
drop shape. The hull is angular and flat. Maybe it makes sense to use different
fiberglass techniques for the two pieces. - Doug -----Original Message----- Doug, What tank are you building? Do you
have lots of curves or mostly straight panels? The hull for my Comet was made from 1/4 ply with one layer fiberglass mat and one layer of cloth. Extremely strong and very light. If you like I could send you some interior pics of how the skin was attached.
