Doug,
What tank are you building? Do you have lots of
curves or mostly straight panels? The hull for my
Comet was made from 1/4 ply with one layer fiberglass
mat and one layer of cloth. Extremely strong and very
light. If you like I could send you some interior pics
of how the skin was attached.
