We've had mixed results. The aluminium worked fine for the Tiger's
original track, but not for the Panzer IV's track, which were replaced
by steel. I think it was because the Tiger track was operated with less
tension than the Panzer IV. But, in either case, both tracks were
replaced by TTS. NOTE: I use aluminum rivets in my TTS track and they
have held up very well (although you don't want to run for extended
periods of time on rough concrete or asphalt).
