I bought a couple of these motors a while back:
http://www.allelectronics.com/cgi-bin/item/DCM-267/400/DC_MOTOR,_3-24_VDC_.html
3-24V range, $3.50 per.
I didnt buy them for the tank. they were going to be used in a 1/144 battleship when
I got around to building it.
I have since reviewed the specs and even saw a website for a guy who upgraded his
Powerwheels with them.
I figure that a 3:1 gearing will give 5-6 mph at 12V.
I am not good with specs when it comes to electric motors though.
Any suggestions?
If worse comes to worse, would running 4 of them (powering the "idler" in addition
to the drive sprocket) make a difference?
Thanks,
Martin
