I have one of these (3-channel) which I bought to operate a robot infantryman- specifically so that I could operate 3 or 4 at a time with no interference from other tanks. I've not tried it with others about but on the basis that a model tank doesn't interfere with a car lock (and presumably vice versa) I can't see that there'd be a problem.

Price is good- the 3-channel keyfob transmitter and receiver were I think around £30 (GBP).

I played with it on the model infantyman for a bit before one of the motors stopped working (that may be significant, I'm not sure). On the model I have you do seem to be able to operate 2 channels at a time (ie left and right wheels at the same time)- tho'  less of a problem for a turret.

One thing I am not happy about is how "sharp" it is. I have just gone and tested it and the minimum burst of power I can get- if I click it on then straight off again- appears to be about 1 second. That's fine if you are operating a garage door, but a bit clumsy for aiming.

Are keyless door locks safe to use in tanks (frequency interference, etc)?
I want to use one to control the trigger mechanism for my gun from within the
chassis withough having to run wires from the chassis to the turret.

Thanks,
