Steve Tyng helped Rob Snyder build Tiger #T047 and recessed the chains
into the hull walls.

He used his M1 motors (MY1016Z3-350W). You can remove
the face plate and rotate it 90 degrees to allow LH and RH
mounting.

Unite no longer makes the 350W version with gear
reducer. Steve no longer imports motors. His M1
motors had 6.5% timing difference when I tested
them about two years ago.
495 rpm CCW no load, 3.0A
463 rpm CW no load, 2.7A
You can ask Steve and Rob if Tiger #T047 pulls right or left.

My M01 motors are exactly the same size but 300W
(Unite MY1016Z3-300W). You can also remove the face
plate and rotate it 90 degrees to allow LH and RH
mounting as shown in the attached JPG. I can provide
instructions from Steve.
I just tested my M01 motors. They have 2.6% timing difference.
385 rpm CCW no load, 1.5A
375 rpm CW no load, 1.4A
I use two 18V DeWalt DW960 right angle drill motors in my new
Bren Gun Carrier that have 5.8% timing difference operating at
24V. It does not have much right-left pull on grass and only mild
pull on pavement.
DeWalt DW960 at 24V
690 rpm CCW with tracks, 4.1A
650 rpm CW with tracks, 3.6A
I doubt that 2.6% difference will cause much right-left pull.
