A lot of barrels for painball guns have barrels have a
step in them, that the barrel has a larger diameter at the end. I cannot
remember the exact reaseon for it but I think it stabalises the
ball.

[TANKS]
So if i where to make the barrel something like 18", and
make the rest of the barrel a little larger, wouldn't this give another
negative effect, and then i mean in thought with the expension of the gas,
after the ball has left the barrel and still has to go thru the slightly
larger barrel, wont the expanding gas cause
turbulence? Floris
