I know this is a little off subject, but there is a  great pc game called Battlefront Barbarossa to Berlin and Afrika Corps, these cam out in 2002 and 2003 and the demos can be downloaded at www.battlefront.com The newest game is Theatre of War and the Graghics are aewsome.  The demo for TOW is available there as well.  These are WW II based games and you could say they are the pc version of Advanced Squad Leader.  Also a version is also available for the modern warfare buffs as well.  Check out the demos they are free and the Barbarossa and Afrika games can be found on ebay pretty cheap.

Thanks

John

when using this controller, when one moves the stick forward to full, does the tank jump to full speed or does it have a "slow motion" to ease it to full speed (well within a few seconds)?

The controller has fully adjustable acceleration and deceleration ramps.  Check the manual out;
