Heh, with the chassis done and welded I am set with the 6 ft length. I am thinking
if i make the front and rear suspension a wee bit shorter than the middle it will
help.

either you'll make the tracks a bit shorter in length (and surface contact)
and / or spread them out (making the tank wider) giving the tank more of a
box shape rather than a long
