My main concern with your tank is the length, six feet ?
Im thinking of your turning ability ,there will be a lot of drag at the ends of the
track.
I think you will need to (somehow) keep max ground
pressure at the middle of the tracks.
I hope im wrong ,
It should be easy to keep in a straight line.
