I use Unichains belts, an equivalent of Intralox. Next to the things Joe and
Will stated I'd like to add that these tracks are the lightest available:
0,27 lb/ft.
The advantage of slip between tracks and ground is that there is no need for
a belt drive end stage, like with the TTS. Unless something gets caught
between the tracks, my fuses have never blown and I have taken some steep
climbs with (I'd like to add) good traction.
During the last Tank Expo it did throw track three times, probably caused by
the lack of a tensioning system. Since then, I added a spring loaded
tensioner. Check the picture. You can also see the wear on the tracks after
2 years of occasional driving on pavement. Not too bad for plastic.
