Well there are a couple of Shermans under construction, but they just
aren't completed yet. Ted Callahan looks to be the only one who got a
fully functioning Stuart up and running and actually firing paint
(unless Will got his going), but I believe he sold that tank:
http://www.foxflier.com/stuart/index.htm . Looks like Ted has posted
in the last two months so maybe he can give you a status on his
Stuarts. I don't think Chris Denis (tank T022) is in the hobby
anymore. He hasn't posted in quite sometime as far as I can tell.
The owner of T019 (Pershing) has left the hobby before completing his
tank. Not sure about Randy Reynolds (T029), but I'm assuming he left
the list since he hasn't posted in quite awile either.
I like American tanks, but I know that my meager skills wouldn't serve
me well trying to construct one with all of those curves on the hulls
and turrets. Yes, the Abrams is an exception so I will eventually
build one. I'd like to stick to the 1/6 rule rather than the 36"
lenth rule so my Abrams would be quite large. That in itself has
stopped me from starting one so far.
Is there anyway to update some of the information about the older
designated tanks to show whether or not they are in progress still or
are defunct? A note on the main page which says "project abandoned"
instead of "under construction" would be my suggestion. Anyway, just
a suggestion.
