I now have a design which I think will work. I have just got the radio gear, tracks (I need tracks to get around on grass) and motors should arrive tomorrow. Next week I'm away on holiday, but then it's down to building.
Paintball robots have all sorts of unexpected problems. I planned for example to cover it in wool, to represent a greatcoat (hiding a lack of legs). I then realised that this would mean I had the world's first paintball robot that was dry-clean only....
