I initially had fixed wheel shafts on my StuG (T035) but
modified it to a bogie system. See before and after picture attached.
Nothing complex, just a nut welded to a small steel beam that pivots around a
bolt that is welded to the frame.
Besides the cool-factor it improved the driving
capabilities.
Cheap, simple and fool proof.
