I am using these on my ASU-85.  Should be close to a running chassis by this weekend when Joe's motors get here.  Should have them by tomorrow.

Using an EXTREMELY primative and error prone formula, 18lbs x 8 axles =
288lbs max capacity.  So I figured that a tanks at 140lbs should give me
enough spring tension to work.

However, I really like Steve Tyng's suspension that he used on T040.  It is
a much simpler system that will be less likly to fail than mine.

that was going to be one of my question.  I have a toy tank and I notice the
lead and rear road wheel had no suspension, but the six in the middle had
suspension.  I already have some strong springs that I would use for the
front and rear road wheel, they are very stiff.  I was debating if I should
use it, but since you mention that the front and rear should have stiffer
springs, I will use it there.
