Chris,
What I have done is drill a hole all the way through the axle shaft (so it is snug
against the bronze bushing on the tanks outer sidewall) and run a piece of wire
through it. However, I think you have a much better idea. I will give it a try
this weekend. Thanks for the idea:-)
