I just bought some flange bearings from the RC Tank Combat Superstore (aka www.surpluscenter.com ). I tried to save some money and got cheap ones. They came today. When I turn them by hand, the bearings are very stiff. They’re certainly turnable, but they don’t really rotate easily. I’m wondering if using them would result in a significant waste of power or if I’m just being too picky. These bearings are going on my driveshaft. I know it’s hard to say without actually handling the bearings, but what do you think ? I can replace them with good quality bearings for $40 or so. Worth it ?

I would think the smoother the drive tran works overall, the less power you'll have to waist, specialy if your trying to out run someones shot
