hello my name is Simon and I am new to this list. I am planning on building a 2ft long tank. I was doing a lot of research. I was planning on using c2060 chain, double on each side and spot weld 5-6" track across the two chain. I have difficulty finding drive sprocket fot this size chain. I found this conveyor chain on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=004&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=140076464997&rd=1&rd=1 it is a #40 chain that require #40 sprocket. it have 1 1/2" top plate. I was thinking about attaching 3" top plate to the original top plate, but I don't know how strong the original top plate is attach to the chain. I am also thinking about doubling this conveyor chain so I could attach a 5-6" track. thank you.
